Pregnancy Yoga (prenatal)

Our prenatal yoga classes are all about moving your body in a safe and gentle way, bonding with your baby and finding quiet moments on that exciting road towards giving birth. We practice yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditation, and every class is focused around a specific theme.

 

If you haven’t practiced yoga before, we recommend women to wait with practicing prenatal yoga until they are in their second trimester. You continue as long as you want, even until the day of meeting your baby. You don’t need any previous yoga experience.

Mother-Baby Yoga (postnatal)

Mother-Baby Yoga (postnatal)

Yoga classes for mothers and their babies (from 6 weeks to 9 months) focused on coming home in your new mama body, softening the body parts that do all the hard work during the day and night, and connecting with the mind and soul.

 

These 75-minute classes are always focused around a specific theme and include yoga postures, breathing exercises, and short meditations. Everything is allowed: changing diapers, feeding babies, coming late: everything. We often end the class with baby massage techniques and there is always room for sharing and support.

Monthly Deepening Classes

Monthly Deepening Classes

Every month, we offer a 2-hour class focused on a specific theme. These classes include asana (yoga postures), as well as breathing and meditation techniques, and allow us to dive deeper into our yoga practice, our bodies, and minds.

 

The monthly deepenings are for all women in all stages of life, and are both for those of you who are just starting on the path of yoga and women with more yoga experience.

Sanga Yoga at Work

Do you spend most of your work day behind a desk? Or are you often sitting on a chair in a meeting room? Or do you feel stressed at work? Bring Sanga Yoga to your workplace for a mindful session of movement, stretching and breathing!

 

Yoga at the workspace is great for your back (hello lower back pain from sitting all day!) and neck (oi, text neck!), it helps your energy flow again so you stay energized throughout the day, and helps lower stress levels. It’s also simply a super fun activity to do together with your team.

 

With Sanga Yoga at Work, you and your co-workers can practice with us, in the comfort of your own office space, cantina or meeting room. Our classes are available as group classes, or you can have a private or duo practice with us, at work.

Do you prefer a small, intimate setting for your yoga classes or do you have specific questions you’d like to work with during your yoga sessions? A private yoga class might be the right thing for you!

 

Theresa teaches private yoga classes in Oslo and surroundings. The private classes always start with a first assessment talk, followed by a yoga session, with the option for follow-up sessions.
